The Peak is a quick, short right-hand barrel. It breaks more often than Krui Left and offers a good but short, shallow barrel. If it’s just you and a few other people, The Peak can be an awesome session that will leave you with many unforgettable barrels.
The Peak is not suitable for beginners. The reef is shallow and the take-off is very quick and steep. Favors a higher tide.
Right in front of the Secret Sumatra surf camp. Paddle out via the slight channel in the reef.
