If you arrive on Bali by plane, at daylight, just look down as you approach the landing strip : Airport's is the waves breaking South of the landing strip (righthander) and North of it (lefthander).↵To get surfing on each of these, you have either to paddle (have you enough muscles ?!) or rent a boat at Jimbaran "harbor", just close to the airport.
